  ive had to make statements like this too many times.

  communities like this have had to endure tragedies like this too many times.

  once again, communities [were harmed] because someone who wanted to inflict harm had no problem getting their hands on a gun.. lets be clear: at some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries.

  the new light claims the annointed class/144k is always male.

  I have over 40 riffles and pistols. Love to shot and consider myself a marksman. Don't mind a tax. Don't mind laws to keep criminals from obtaining them. Don't mind at all. What I mind are know it all on both sides telling what I can or can't do. What I mind is sensational news flaming mistrust on both sides. Most legal gun owners that I know are VERY responsible and want safety first for themselves, their families, their neighbors et all.

  Has anyone had a jw hack into their email/tablet/phone etc to spy?

  i note stillin has had a recent problem with this.

  i also know of two cases were an elder went through a brothers phone to get dirt on him.

  and another were a sisters email was hacked into to get dirt on her.. in both cases apparently it was for their spiritual protection (!

  I fix computers as a hobby. I had on numerous occasions Elders ask me if I saw anything inappropriate on computers of some individuals in our congregation. I usually just tell them that I fix problems not make them. If someone is doing what is "wrong", that is between them and God...none of my business.

  Actually was brought up at our last Servants meeting. We had a recent surge in babies born at our hall and there is not enough room in the woman's room or the small closet they call the Babies room (nursing room.) The CO suggested to "Get rid of the library and make it a babies room and put the congregations computer in the old babies room with all the latest releases on it." He said we don't need to keep printed copies if we have digital. I think that is what they are going to do here in about a month.

  When I go to the Sunday meeting I always get a group to go afterwards to a local Chinese restaurant. Now remember, most of the people I hang out with are like my sister, questioning or on the fence types. We have a blast with the cookies. One sister keeps saying she is going to sneak one into the Kingdom Hall and put it into this one sisters purse when she is not looking, This sister in question is a hard line born in who actually councils other sisters about hem lines. I keep goading her to do it. God I hope she does!

  you think it's the holy spirit that appoints the elders, at least that's what new jw males are told.

  the culture within the organization dictates to all young male jehovah's witnesses that unless you are an elder, you will not get the sultry, passionate- brunette, the voluptuous, curvaceous,- blond, or the seductive, erotic, red headed-vamp..

  so unaware of the social forces that are shaping your mind, you succumb to the dictum issued by the governing body to conform to the structure already in place- if you want to be successful.

  I was told I was appointed as an Elder but I refused it because I was just waking up. Couldn't/didn't want the bs involved. Now I am trying to slowly fade as a MS. Not as easy as it seems. I actually have a couple of "real" elders in my congregation and when you say you are missing because of sickness or something, they really try to help. I think I am going down the anxiety route again. Worked once before, and the brothers aren't trained to deal with it.

  the world has changed in so many incredible ways just in the time i've been alive.. my first car was a vauxhall viva.
